Suggest Treatment For Uncontrollable Blood Sugar Levels
You may try only by diet and exercise.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.
Sir, In such a situation after seeing your blood sugar levels, If I were your treating doctor, I would advice you to stop the medicine for a while and follow Good diet and exercise for up to 2-3 months with blood sugar monitoring every 2 weeks. If blood sugar levels are under control then continue the same as long as sugar levels are under control along with monitoring sugar levels every 1 month.
After 2 months of strict diet and exercise if blood sugar levels are higher to normal, Then i would start Half the dose i.e, metformin 250mg one daily at night and see. Depending on sugar control either same increase the dose.
You can do this after discussing with your treating doctor.
Hope this guides you. For any other queries you can write to us. we will be happy to help you. Thank you.

Glycomet500 is low antidiabeticdose to jalra50/500
Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
Welcome back.
Jalra 50/ 500 has two anti-diabetic drugs called vidagliptin 50mg. and metformin 500mg. Glcomet contains only metformin, and hence its obvious that its a lesser dosage. And hence fasting sugar went up but not much to worry. The change in dosage will be advised until a correct dosage to control your sugar levels and then that will be continued.
The variation of 90 and 117 has two reasons, one reason most commonly occurs is false reading by glucometer. The second one being the some metabolism differences that work on inner stores of glucose which could be released because of low sugar levels than required. This reason, In diabetics one golden rule is never skip the meals.
The Fasting value above 126mg./dl and post prandial(2hrs. after eating meals) value >200mg./dl. are regarded as diabetic. The Fasting value less than 110mg./dl and post prandial value <140mg./dl. are normal. then inbetween values are considered as pre diabetes.
So, you need not worry much of your sugar levels. They under good control and drugs need some time upto 15 days to get to adapt in to your body metabolism.
The diet and exercise guidelines to follow are:
* Avoid single high concentrated meals.
* Small frequent meals more times in a day.
* Food high in fibre content like vegetables, whole pulses, fruits, etc.
Ideal combination of diabetic diet should be:--
Carbohydrates: 55-60%.
Fat: 30%.
Proteins: 15-20% (0.8g /kg /body wt).
Fibres 40 g/day.
Take unrestricted:--
* Salads (cucumber, tomato, onion, raddish, salad leaves).
* Vegetables (cabbage, baigan, lady fingers, french beans, methi, palak).
* Fruits (except banana,Oranges, chockoo or mangoes).
* Sprouted beans and pulses.
* XXXXXXX biscuit (with less sugar).
* Clear soups, Lemon juice, Buttermilk
