Suggest Treatment For Upper Respiratory Infection

Question: I went to Kroger clinic yesterday with symptoms of common allergy problems as well as extreme stomach pain. Dx viral upper respiratory infection. Was told to add Flonase cont Advil cold and sinus and cont Zyrtec also add Benadryl pm. Sinus is ok but extreme stomach pain now for over 24 hours. As of this morning I took gas x and peptonismal. No relief

Do you have any nausea, vomiting, constipation, bloating? Have you had peptic ulcer before? Does the pain radiate to the back? Do you take any medicines?

Yes to bloating no ulcer. Meds. OTC vitamins

Ultrasound and x-ray should be done.

Detailed Answer:
As the pain is strong and lasts a while, ER visit seems necessary. It can be peptic ulcer, gallstones, bowels obstruction. It is hard to determine having only handful of information.
At least abdominal ultrasound and x-ray should be done. Blood work is necessary as well.
