Brief Answer:
Kegels, estrogen, pessaries

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Uterovaginal prolapse diagnosis is mainly done upon clinical observation. The prolapse can be evident after asking the patient to strain to increase the intra abdominal pressure.

Yes, initially medical treatment can be advised which includes Kegel exercises which involves the pubococcygeus muscle. Estrogen replacement especially in post menopausal women has also shown benefit. Pessaries can be inserted into vagina to elevate and correct the position of the pelvic structures.

In patients where the conservative medical treatment fails, surgical approach including a vaginal hysterectomy with vaginal repair should be sought, in consult with your doctor.

Please consult your doctor before deciding on any further course of action.
