Brief Answer:
Slow and steady natural ways, no surgery

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. At age of 22 any weight loss surgery is really not a good option. Being in army with difficulty in weight loss, get some baseline metabolic profile to rule out any metabolic causes of weight loss like hormonal imbalances etc. After that caloric consumption should be increased and intake be reduced to only 2 thousand calories a day and not more. Sign up to an FDA approved weight loss program and lose 30 pounds in 12 weeks slowly and then maintain it for a year. Then repeat the cycle. Losing weight is not one day thing . Persistent natural measures and diet control are the only way out. Avoid weight loss supplements and use ATKIN and other diets for weight loss.

Its too early for any bariatric surgery and i would like that option to be not even considered at age of 22. Sign up with an FDA approved weight loss clinic and hope for the best.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan

Brief Answer:
Needs work up and management

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back to me

What ever is the diet, reducing calories is the key, keeping it to 2 thousand and less is the key and consuming more than 4 thousand with exercises, running jogging is necessary. Fatty liver with no alcohol abuse should be considered for any lipid profile disorder which can still explain the weight gain. It needs further work up. Yes seek a gastroenterologist. Give conservative measures a try and if they fail then go for bariatric surgery but make sure you have exhausted all your options first.

I hope it helps.
