Suggest Ways To Rule Out A Concussion
Question: Hi. This is just a general question. If a car is parked in a parking lot and a car that is pulling out taps the car at a speed of about 4 miles an hour - making no dents or marks where the car doesnt even move- can this cause whiplash to the person inside the parked car or a concussion? I would say definitely not coreect? Thank you
Brief Answer:
Unlikely possibility of whiplash injury
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Such a mild impact will not cause any whiplash injury.
Is there any back or neck pain, any weakness in limbs, urinary complains or any sensory loss?
You should not worry about whiplash injury due to such trivial accident.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
