Suggest Ways To Wean Off Percocet

Question: I'm trying to get off percocet 10/325 I have been taking it for a year after spinal fusion. The I came down with shingles in my face, I normanly take on a day at night sometime two on a bad day If and ocasionaly I have had to take three throught the entire course of a day. Today I have taken 2 tramadol about 4 hours apart and I feeling fairly well, Is this a good plan

Hello,
I have studied your case. I am really impressed with you that you are trying to get rid of addiction. Percocet has addiction problem. And Tramadol is better and safe alternative. You should continue doing that. I would also suggest you to use other method of pain management like:
1.Hot water fomentation
2.Volitran ointment
3. Epidural injection
Along with Tramadol, Paracetamol is also a good option. It is safe and there is no addiction problem.
