Brief Answer:
It seems to be soft tissue injury.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to us

Liquid sac under skin is likely to be due to a haematoma formation in the area.

It seems to be soft tissue injury. It is better to go for x-ray to rule out any bony injury. You need to avoid massaging the area. Beside icing and elevating it, you can take anti-inflammatory drug like motrin to reduce pain and inflammation.

Avoid lifting weight and rest well.

The pain and swelling might take over a week to subside. In case there is an acute pain and a sudden increase in swelling then consult your physician for a direct examination to rule out any infection in the area.

Hope this helps you. If you have any further queries I am happy to answer, if no kindly close the query.

Wishing you speedy recovery...
