Trying To Get Pregnant, Norethisterone
Thanks for your query.
Firstly, norethisterone has nothing to do with getting pregnant. You took the drug to stop menstruation while on holiday. After stopping the drug, you should get withdrawal bleeding within a week to 10 days. After that you should get you period and you can start trying for conception again.
If you have been trying to get pregnant for sometime now, without success i would also suggest taking the help of a fertility specialist. After 6 months of trying naturally, if there is no success you should get some tests done to rule out any underlying causes of infertility like Thyroid dysfunction, PCOS, hyperprolactinemia etc.
If you have regular periods then in a normal 28 day cycle your fertile days would be between day 11-17, counting 1st day of your menses as day 1.
Regards,
Good to hear from you again.
Well, after ejaculation if you keep lying down for at least 30-45 mins then it may help, provided there are no other infertility factors involved.
Hope this answers your query.
My husband had mumps when he was 20!! Really bad we are so worried this has caused infertility?! Can this just mean he has low sperm count or completely nothing?
Thanks so much
Thanks for writing back.
Well, mumps is known to cause male infertility and the most apparent cause is low sperm count. The only way to confirm this is by taking a semen analysis test.
I suggest that since you have been trying conception without success for a while, you see a fertility specialist and get tested. You and your husband both.
