What Are Symptoms Of A Concussion?
Question: I was getting into the car yesterday in a bit of a hurry and hit my head on the door frame. Is concussion unlikely? My head hurt a little bit but I don't have usual concussion symptoms. (I'm feeling really tired though).

I don't think you have any bleeding due to trauma.
Concussion can be there.
But since you don't have any problem, you don't require any treatment as such.
You may still get a CT Head to be sure.

how do I know if there's concussion?

In concussion there are symptoms like Vertigo, Vomitings, Loss of consciousness.
A slight concussion can be there with even a small trauma.
We treat it if it is sever and symptomatic.
To confirm you need to get Neuroimaging done- CT/MRI Brain.

Okay, thank you but I can't have any scans. Is it still slight concussion if there's no headache or vertigo or vomitting?
