Brief Answer:
Diabetes symptoms;

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking!
The symptoms and signs of type 2 Diabetes depend on the severity of the blood glucose level.
Diabetes is diagnosed when fasting blood sugar is over 125, but the symptoms begin when the blood sugar raises over 180 mg/ dl. That is why is recommended to monitor the blood sugar if you have risk factors ( are overweight and have family members with Diabetes)

The main symptoms of the high blood glucose are ;

- Urinating often.
-Feeling very thirsty.
-Feeling very hungry - even though you are eating.
-Extreme fatigue.
-Blurry vision
-Weight loss - even though you are eating more

It happens often diagnosing Diabetes after the signs and symptoms of chronic complications are installed. Chronic complications need at least 5 years after the blood glucose starts to raise to get installed. It can damage many organs; the eyes, kidneys, heart vessels, peripheric vessels, nerves ect.
The symptoms in these cases vary a lot, depending on the organ that is damaged.

Hope the information will help.

Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
