What Causes A Large Lump On The Knee?
Question: I have a large lump on side of knee don to mid calf..it is soft an has a red spot on it..t not a bullseye but red around the red spot..I live in is..Iowa.. I'm concerned it mayb Lyme disease..

What is its exact location and site?
Is it painful to touch?
Do you have DVT anytime?
Any Varicose Vein in the past or currently on the same leg?

Based on given facts,red lump with redness around it, needs to be reviewed after more details from You.
But in My opinion -Chances seem to be less of it being Lymes rash, where in central clear is surrounded by red rash.Hence final opinion would be given after getting more details from You along with the updates of photo-picture of the lump.
