May be due to muscle spasm, Vitamin D deficiency alongside Nerve compression
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear XXXX,
Welcome to HCM and thanks for the query
I can understand your concern and thanks for the query
Your symptoms could be due to muscle spasm, Vitamin D deficiency, alongside Nerve compression (which you've rightly mentioned)
I would suggest to go for X-ray of the cervical spine (AP LATERAL), MRI if needed to rule out nerve compression.
Meanwhile consider following advises:
Start the supplemental medicines without any further delay for the low Vitamin D & B12 as you must've been advised already.
Tablet Ibuprofen 400 mg three times daily for next 2-3 days after food
Tablet Ranitidine 150mg twice daily before meal
Application of Diclofenac (Volini) gel twice daily
Warm pad application
Neck exercise according to physiotherapist will helpful
Wear Soft cervical collar specially
Do not keep your neck in same position for long time
Exposure to sunlight for 2 hour / week with open hand , forearm and face, feet between 10 am to 12 noon
This is my personal opinion based on the information available
Hope I have answered your question
If you have further query then I'll be happy to help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
