Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Greetings of the day
Dear Sir

I assume you are referring to his genital when you used the term soft part. If the following criteria are fulfilled it is unlikely to be dehydration

1. Urine output is adequate
2. Oral mucosa is moist and wet
3. On pinching the skin of forearm between thumb and index finger and releasing it, it immediately goes back to normal

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

It is unlikely to be due to dehydration. Kindly check the criteria I had suggested earlier. If they are fulfilled it's unlikely to be dehydration. Also ensure baby is exclusively breast feed on demand.
