Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Mild pain and discomfort is common during intercourse, particularly when a woman is around the ovulatory / pre menstrual phase.
But excessive pain that interferes with sex, all the time, is not normal.
Does she have any itching / redness / foul smelling discharge / tenderness ?
Then this could point to some kind of infection.
She should have an internal evaluation by a gynecologist.
That would include - internal exam, Pap smear, pelvic ultrasound scan and swabbing and culture of any suspicious vaginal discharge.
Make sure that she drinks a lot of water, and always urinates after having sex.
Try being gentle with her and have a lot of foreplay so that she is properly lubricated.
All the best.

Hello
Using the washroom after intercourse minimizes chances of pregnancy.
For getting pregnant, she can lie down with the knees drawn to the chest for 15 - 20 minutes after sex, and then use the washroom.
For pregnancy, it is best to remain sexually active around the days of ovulation.
IN a normal woman, ovulation occurs around day 14 of the cycle, counting the first day of bleeding as day 1.
SO , please remain sexually active from day 10 - day 20 of each cycle, if her periods are regular.
Ask her to take folic acid supplements 5 mg per day ( eg. Folvite ) daily for 3 months.
Wait for atleast 3 months after the first miscarriage before trying for a pregnancy again.
Ask her to exercise regularly, eat sensibly and remain stress free.
Take care.
