What Causes Abdominal Pain Post Jaundice Recovery?
Your body might still be gearing up to be able to digest a regular diet
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
It is more likely that the jaundice that you mention, was actually a viral hepatitis. In such a case all you need to do is to rest and your body gradually recovers on its own. A light or bland diet is advised during the recovery. When you are feeling pain on food intake, it could be due to the contraction of the gall bladder in order to release the digestive juices that would then be required for digestion of the food. For commenting definitively, a proper clinical examination is required but that is beyond the scope of this online disccussion.
Let me know if you have any further queries and I would be glad to help.

It is best not to take any medicine
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Sorry for not being able to respond faster.
Let me inform you that the liver functions as the key organ of metabolism. Thus any medicine that you take, adds to the load of metabolism to be done by the liver. Thus in liver disease it is best not to take any medicine or syrup. The regenerative capacity of the liver is very high and unaided, it has the capacity to recover completely. I would therefore not suggest you any medicine.
Hope that you understand.
