What Causes Acidity, Chest Pain And Burning Sensation In Stomach?

Endoscopy, Opinion of Gastroenterologist
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX from XXXXXXX
You certainly know that you are suffering from Acid Peptic Disease.
The first part of the treatment is to say no to the foods and beverages like tea, sweet drinks and sweet or spicy things. This is very important till you get yourself investigated and fully treated.
I would advise you to undergo Upper GI Endoscopy to exactly know the problem you have like gastritis / duodenitis / esophagitis/ lax sphincters and so on.
A perfect diagnosis by Endoscopy by a Gastroenterologist will give the proper plan for treatment.
I think you need to follow this::
Ranitidine
Pepcid / Antacid every 3 to 4 hours when on empty stomach.
Add Domperidone or such motility regulators.
Soft bland diet.
No aerated colas / soda/ drinks.
Early dinner. No late nights.
Treatment for anxiety (as prescribed / needs a prescription by your Doctor)
Lying in a reclining position
Walk around after dinner.
Think of the factors which increased the present problem, GERD, anxiety and try to avoid.
If no relief, get Upper GI endoscopy done and get prescription for added Medicines.
EKG for the heart n a safer side to rule out cardiac problems.
This helps all my patients and should help you hopefully. I hope this helps you to get a proper diagnosis and management to get a cure.... not just temporary relief.
