What Causes An Episode Of Vomiting In A Toddler?
Question: Hi doctor,
My daughter is 18 months and today, 30 mins after wakimg she vomited while sittimg in her highchair and waiting for her breakfast. This also happened last saturday. I am very concerned about a brain tumor! She started walking at 14 months but is still a bit unstable and falls. She is also a terrible eater (but has been for thr longest time). She also sometimes closes both eyes like she is blinking but i dont know the significance of this. Please advise.

Occasionally vomiting is not of concern until it is regular with weight loss.
Walking may be delayed to some months normally too and should not be a concern.
There is unlikely possibility of tumor if not associated with head enlargement, Recurrent vomiting, excessive crying, seizures or weakness in limbs.
You can get her examined by a pediatrician for assurance.
