What Causes Blood In Stool, Gurgling Feeling In Lower Abdomen And Pelvic Bone?

Question: I have had two episodes of bloody discharge, rather than feces. Once, in XXXXXXX and then today. In XXXXXXX I defecated three times in one day - it felt like diarrhea, but it was primarily blood. The same is happening today. Both episodes were preceeded by a fullness, an actual gurgling feeling, in my lower left abdomen, just above and inside the pelvic bone. I have no other symptoms of any kind...the same amount of energy I've ever had, no weight loss (even though I am a fairly active high school coach who is trying to eat properly and lose some weight).
Brief Answer:
Colonoscopy required
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCM.
Considering your age and symptoms you should definitely undergo for colonoscopy since everything else would be just probabilities. In most cases bloody discharge is seen in hemorrhoids or polyps but sometimes some more serious diagnoses should be ruled out.
I remain at your disposal for any further queries.
Wish you good health.

I failed to include that the blood is very bright red, though I know that doesn't change your opinion.

Hi
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back,
Yes, bright blood means that possible bleeding lesion is placed in final parts of colon or rectum and this may be hemorrhoidal bleeding , polyps, fissure or angiodysplasia. At least, Rectoscopy should be done for final diagnosis.
