Brief Answer:
Please give some more details.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Tart stool indicates bleeding from the upper GI tract (peptic ulcer, stomach cancer etc.). Bright red blood in the stool (mixed with it) can appear due to polyp or colon cancer. Blood on the stool surface is due to hemorrhoids. Can you please specify which description fits most to your stool?
Do you have any abdominal pain, vomiting? What is your heart rate? Have you ever had colonoscopy done?

I`m looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards.

Blood is mixed with stool and in the water. Stool is almost black. This came on all of a sudden yesterday and again today. My stomach is a bit extended. I had a colonoscopy about 2 years ago and had a polyp removed. my readings are:
sys 164
dia 95
79 pulse

Brief Answer:
Diverticles bleeding can be the case.

Detailed Answer:
So your readings are fine (except the hypertension). For sure its not urgent.
Were there any diverticles in the colonoscopy? Such bleeding is usually caused by diverticles and stops by itself. It would be good to consult gastrologist and have colonoscopy done.

Brief Answer:
The bleeding should stop in few days.

Detailed Answer:
Diverticles are a kind of pouches in the large intestine wall. Please check the colonoscopy report. They should mention about diverticles. Once there is an inflammation of this pouches, can cause bleeding. It should stop in few days.
