Brief Answer:
Has she been tested for Diabetes? Whats's her BMI

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about all these symptoms that you have reported. Frequent urination and fatigues points to possible diabetes. I strongly recommend that she gets evaluated for this. Also, she sllep apnea and sleeplessness could be strongly linked to her body weight which in itself is a major risk factor for diabetes. If she has continuous difficulties breathing whiel asleep, it is more likely that the sleep would be interrupted and lead to more of these symptoms. She might need assistance breathing at night with CPAP breathing aids.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if you need more details than provided.

Thank you, Dr. Ditah.

Her BMI is very low ... 5'1, 98 pounds, RN and gymnast

She has been evaluated for diabetes with negative results. Her glucose level this morning was 100.

Might this be a thyroid issue?

Brief Answer:
It could be thyroid issue!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

You are right about a possible thyroid issue. Please, get her TSH levels evaluated by the nearest laboratory and report the result to me. Is she eating well? With the low weight for her height, I will like to make sure that she is not having anorexia nervosa where she denies to eat. Please, check this with her.

I hope to hear back from you!
