What Causes Brownish And Reddish Discharge During Pregnancy?

She should go for ultrasound pelvis.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us about it.
I can understand your concern, though.
Sometimes little brown discharge is a common symptom during the second trimester because the cervix is very sensitive due to increased blood supply and brown discharge can be due to old blood.
As in her case she is having red discharge along with brown discharge, she should go for ultrasound pelvis to determine the fetal well being and cause of bleeding (low lying placenta).
Is discharge associated with pain or urinary frequency?
Please revert back to me with her ultrasound reports and my reply.
She can stay on her treatment as prescribed by her treating doctor and take a rest.
She should not take any stress.
Hope to hearing from you soon.
Good luck.
Regards

Continue the treatment for up to 6 weeks AFTER bleeding stops
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Nice to hear from you again though.
You should continue with injection proluton and daflon tablet.
Injection proluton usually given 2-3 times weekly till bleeding stops, then continues twice weekly for 4-6 weeks after consulting your treating physician.
Daflon tablet can be given in venous insufficiency cases and continue in her case till the bleeding persist ( or according to your treating physician).
Hope it is useful.
Good luck.
Regards
