Brief Answer:
You need testing for urinary tract infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

your situation sounds like a lower urinary tract infection (cystitis). Since you've taken an antifungal drug and no improvement occurred it has to be something else.
The burning sensation during urination is a common symptom in cystitis. Other accompanying symptoms include suprapubic pain or pressure, urgency (a constant feeling that you need to urinate right away, even after having just urinated) and frequency (going to the toilet very often and having little urine).

A urinalysis can help. If in doubt a urine culture will prove the presence of bacteria in the urine. If it is a cystitis indeed it can be treated with antibiotics.

If none of the above is positive then a visit to a gynaecologist for a clinical examination of your vagina would be appropriate.

I hope you find my answer helpful!

Brief Answer:
It's a simple urine test

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

the constant pressure to pee is the most characteristic symptom of cystitis. Urinalysis is the analysis of a urine sample. You've got to pee in a sterile urine-box and get it to a laboratory as soon as possible (before 30-60 minutes have passed - because bacteria may grow in the sample when it's out of your body and out of the fridge!).
The doctor in the lab will check the urine for the presence of pus (not visible with a bare eye) and blood cells and perhaps bacteria and other findings.

I hope it's more clear now!
Please do ask again, if you're still left with questions!

Kind Regards!

Brief Answer:
Yes, that's better...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

that's better. You could take some antibiotic but it's better if your doctor advised you which one is best suited for your case because different antibiotics may be indicated depending on a patient's history, urine culture findings and local antibiotic resistance.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
