Brief Answer: It can be due to neuropathy Detailed Answer: Hello, It is very common issue with diabetes. This is called neuropathy. Due to high blood sugar, nerves at foot get damage and complain of burning sensation or difficulty in movement occurs. I will suggest you following : 1. Take care of your blood glucose level. If your sugar is not under control, these sensations will progress. 2. I would also recommend you to take Methylcobalamine tablet daily for 3 months. This is a neurovitamin and it helps in growth of nerves. 3. At last if your symptom progress, you can get EMG nerve testing done. For severe burning sensations Tablet pregabalin will also be helpful. 4.I would also suggest you to take special care of your feet as chances of developing of ulcers are very high in diabetes patients. regards,
