What Causes Chronic Nasal Congestion?

Question: I have had continual nasal congestion for weeks, no sneezing, no runny nose, just a feeling of airway constriction that frequently gives me a suffocating feeling. I have tried Zyrtec D, Flonase, nutty pot.

As per your complaints, I think you have nasal disease ..to reach a diagnosis I want to know few things..

Please let me know what all investigations have you got done..do send me your CT scan paranasal sinuses report.. if not done yet than please get it done..

Did u get any chest X-ray done yet ?
Any history of seasonal allergy?
Any history of tobacco use?
Any problem while smelling?
Any regurgitation in Throat?
Please follow up with the reports and answer these questions so that I can suggest you better

Yes, ive had a chest xray
Yes, i have allergies
No tobacco use
No problem smelling
No regurgitation

I do have occasional blurred vision and slight tighness in chest.

Ekg was done with nothing abnormal

Thanks for the follow up query and all the information
from all the details I have sent it appears to me that I probably have a deviated nasal septum and bronchitis
please get a ct scan paranasal sinuses done
for the time being, take a steroidal nasal spray thrice daily
take an oral decongestant like a combination of levocetrizine and phenykepherine twice daily
take regular steam inhalation
take a Salbutamol inhaler once at night
all the medicines I prescribed are available only on prescription
contact me again with your ct scan pictures
