Brief Answer:
Thyroid blood work

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Good day.
I noted that you had a random blood glucose of 500 recently. In that case, Metformin alone may be insufficient to bring it down to normal.
Have you had a cholesterol check? How is your Blood pressure?

If you had a recent diagnosis of diabetes, they would have done your blood works in the hospital which include kidney tests, cholesterol etc. Do you have those reports?

At your age, with the symptoms of low temperature and cold feeling, I would suspect hypothyroidism ( underactive thyroid). It may be worthwhile to get a thyroid blood work done
