Brief Answer:
Dry mouth very common

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

You have been experiencing dry mouth for the past two weeks. Have you been on any new medication over the past two weeks? Please list your medications as severe medications can also cause dry mouth and list over the counter medications too. Do you have any arthritic problems like rheumatoid arthritis or auto immune disorders as they can also cause dry mouth issues.

Unfortunately dry mouth is a frequent problem in people over the age of 65 and they have no cause of the dry mouth. It is important to maintain good overall hydration and drinking plenty of fluids. As you have already tried using Biotene may also help reduce dry mouth.

If you get back to me with the answers to your prior history it will help me better answer your question and help treat the disorder
