I have got black shades on my face. If I go out in the sun during the day, the shaded become more black and if I avoid sun the shades are lighter. But the shades are not fading completely. The shades are on forehead and in the chin area.

Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic
I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your query and I have understood it.
I will keep a possibility of Facial pigmentation Or facial melanosis.
If possible, kindly upload a digital photograph of the affected area so that I am able to assess the severity of your problem
-How long since you have noticed the darkening?
-Does your occupation demands that you need to stay outdoors for a significant part of the day?
-Do you use a sunscreen?
-Do you use any cosmetics on face like a fairness cream, moisturizer etc?
-Do you use a hair oil? I am asking this with respect to mustard oil, in particular. Mustard oil can cause facial melanosis and if used on scalp can spread to forehead and temple area on face.
Regards
