What Causes Dark Substance In Stool After Eating Mushrooms?
Question: If you have a particle that can be removed from stool- it looked dark but had some mushrooms last night- it that okay- was part of the mushroom? Already have had 2 colonscopies in 2 years all was well

From your description, it seems like a vegetable part. Could very well be part of the mushrooms you ate. As you had a colonoscopy recently its unlikely to be any colonic pathology.I think its not a problem.
