Question: I am suffering from diarrhea. I have history of constipation and piles and on medication for the same now. Any medicines

First of all thanks for choosing Healthcaremagic for posting your query.

Your diarrhoea could be due to the medications you are taking for Constipation. Stop those medications .

You can wait for 1 more day and observe . The diarrhoea may stop by itself . But if it continues kindly get Stool Routine tests done and revert back .

Zeedot will help in diarrhoea but it may cause constipation again , so just withhold taking it and following my advise.

Drink plenty of water and ORS so that dehydration doesn't happen.

Thanks Doctor. Actually I'm taking Isabgol at Bedtime regularly. But recently the problem of constipation aggravated which resulted in constipation and bleeding due to piles. I visited a Ayurvedic doctor who changed the medications and advised me to take them for a month. The stool is definitely softer than before but the situation changed dramatically resulting in diarrhea.

I shall follow your advise. But can I take probiotics ( Pro-Wel for example) ?
