What Causes Difficulty In Attaining Orgasms?
Question: What can I do to decrease the time it takes for me to orgasm? I am currently taking testorone gel, levoxy for my thyroid, vitamin d and niacin for my cholesterol.( stop taking statins against doctors orders after being on the drug order because it merely was giving him a legal reason to see me quarterly ( cholesterol level was 220 last check at 189)... I am an active healthy 59 year old man... I play baseball, do sprint triathlons, workout about 5-6 times a week and have since I was in high school... I also meditate every day for 25 years twice a day.... I used to orgasm in less than 5 minutes.. now it takes nearly an hour... I do not have erectile dysfunctions...
Is the testerone gel affecting my ability to lose weight? I weigh 206 and am five feet eleven and a half inches tall....what can i do to effectively lose my body fat in my stomach?

Brief Answer:
Why are you on testosterone gel?
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this worry surrounding orgasm and your weight. What strikes me is the fact that I am unable to tell for what reasons you are on testosterone gel. Kindly provide this to me.
Testosterone is the most likely cause of your ejaculation difficulties and weight issues. For now, kindly tell me why you are on testosterone gel. I need to factor this into the final response that I will send to you.
I hope to hear from you. I wish you well.

I am being prescribed testerone gel to increase my tester one level... it is quite low under 150... now it is near 1000... I asked for this because I was having very little sperm come out after a prolonged period of orgasm... I also believe that it has helped me with my activity level and possible depression... I see a positive effect in my life from this prescription.. I originally visited the urologist because I was urinating 8-10 times a day... he prescribed medication and I subsequently went off the medication and started taking natural foods for my uirination/bladder pronlem... the natural solution worked better than the medication... I have hypothyroidism and I am still on 1000 mg of levoxyl... i am not getting off this until i see my thyroid specialist... I hope this is helpful... my main question is regarding the time to orgasm and my ability to drop my weight from 206 to 188...let me know your thoughts.. XXXXXXX
Brief Answer:
The dosage of testosterone has to be reduced!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The orgasm and weight issues are related to excess testosterone. The levels of 1000 are high for supplementation purposes only. This is the most likely explanation for the symptoms. Talk to your doctor about this.
For levothyroxine, you will not have to stop it. You will need to take it all through. What was your last TSH level?
Good diet, regular exercise and an active lifetsyle can also help with the weight challenges.
I wish you well and keep me updated.

Ok I need some clarification because this is different than my urologist opinion...
Diet and Exercise- Currently I workout five times a week/ one hour per time...Three hours of cardio related exercise ( running , spin class, swimming) and two hours of non aerobic exercise ( yoga- one hour/ weight lifting one hour)
I also play baseball once a week... I do not consider this exercise but the games last 3 hours....
Diet- I eat between 2000- 3000 calories a day.... I spread my meals out to 4-6 meals a day...
I do not lose weight... I am gaining weight... What do I need to change...
The tester one gel I am using is called Andro Gel and I take two swiipes a day... When I asked my urologist the same question he said the gel does not affect how long it takes me to orgasm and my weight... He said my thyroid condition is the reason for the weight gain or stabilization of weight.... I have borderline type 2 which shows up strong when I cut coffee out... When I have 4-10 cups of coffee a day the diabetes issue goes completely away.... Please advise
Also my resting pulse is 59 and my blood pressure is 120/80.... I monitor both on my phone.... I am very athletic and won the triathlon for men over 55 in the state I reside in... I need help because I hate the belly fat that has occurred since I was 53 and I also do not like to wait an hour to orgasm... thanks.

Testosterone actually leads to weight gaIn!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Testosterone is an anabolic steroid. This is the same reason why supplementation is banned for athletes because it leads to greater endurance and muscle/body building. While low thyroid can cause weigh gain, these steroids are more concerning to me. Your values increased from the lowest end to almost the uppermost limit of normal, I will want to see this dosage reduced to allow your values fall more in a the normal range.
Also, did you ever have this issue of delayed orgasm before starting the testosterone gel? I am somewhat very convinced this explains your symptoms and needs to be addressed.
Let me know what your thoughts are. You may share my thought process with your urologist as well.

I will consult with my urologist... I am going to cut back on the tester one to one swipe a day and ultimately eliminate it.... what are some natural solutions to low tester one? what types of foods have this in it? It is clearly evident to me based on the amount of semen and my lack of energy drive before taking this that there was a problem... just like getting off statins I wish to get off tester one... I do not think I can get off levoxyl for my thyroid as easily... I truly believe less medication leads to longevity what are your thoughts for natural foods or substitutes for tester one and for thyroid medication?

Stopping testosterone gel is not the foal, reduce it!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I will suggest the following:
1. Reduce the dosage and bring blood levels to values around 500.
2. I always belief in natural products as opposed to medications but don’t see what natural product would help with this low testosterone.
3. Let your doctor also follow up to measure your TSH values and recommend accordingly. Communicate this value to me as well.
I hope this guides and as always, I appreciate further discussions with you!
