What Causes Difficulty In Sleeping When Having Hypothyroidism?

Zolfresh should not be taken along with Alprax.
Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,
Hi and Welcome to HCM!
I appreciate your concern for the safety of the medications when taken together.
Both the prescribed medications belong to Sedative-hypnotic groups used for a number of clinical conditions like sleep disturbances, anxiety, etc.
Taking Alprax (alprazolam) together with Zolfresh (zolpidem) increases the risk of central nervous system (brain) depression because of the additive effects causing dizziness, drowsiness (sleepiness) and difficulty concentrating.
Hence, this combination is to be avoided because of the additive depression.
However, since Alprax is not found to be effective in your case, you may take Zolfesh alone at bed time for the treatment of insomnia.
Hope I could answer your query.
Please feel free to ask again.
Wishing you a good health.

check your thyroid function tests
Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir, Hi
Thanks for your query.
I appreciate your concern for the inability/difficulty to sleep.
Kindly check your thyroid function tests to find out whether the dose of Levothyroxine you are taking is adequate or not. Because high dose of Levothyroxine can cause palpitation, anxiety, insomnia and other sleep issues.
To find out whether an infection with H. pylori bacteria or whether treatment for H. pylori infection has been successful or not, the following tests are usually advised:
1. Urea breath test
2. Stool antigen test
3. Blood antibody test. If you have antibodies to H. pylori in your blood, it means you either are currently infected or have been infected in the past.
Hope this answers your query.

It is unlikely to be due to H. pylori infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hi

H. pylori normally infects your stomach
The most common symptoms include abdominal pain which typically occurs when your stomach is empty or excessive burping, feeling bloated or nauseated, loss of appetite or weight loss are the other symptoms. It doesn't cause insomnia.
Hope this answers your query.
Best regards.
