I need more details to understand the situation here.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Well I need a few more details before I can guide you further.
At 23, why did you not have periods for 3 years ?
Since how long are you bleeding now ?
Before 3 years, did you have such heavy cycles ?
Did you take any medication for inducing a period this time ?
What is your height and weight ?
Such clots and heavy bleeding is definitely not normal, but I need to understand your background further before offering a comment ?
Are you on any medications / blood thinners currently ?
How many pads are you soaking per day ?
Please write back with more details.
Take care.

It because of the prolactin levels due to my anti psychotic thats stoping it it normally. I have only had it fr 2 days. No im not taking any blood thiners. This is not nrmal for me its never this bad. I go through at least 5 or 6 full pads a day .
Brief Answer:
Have an evaluation since it sounds really heavy.
Detailed Answer:
See when you have a period after a long while, it can be heavy, as the lining of the uterus builds up.
Also, heavy periods might occur due to deranged prolactin levels.
However, the size of clots that you describe is way too huge.
YOu should seek medical attention.
Please have an internal exam and a pelvic ultrasound scan.
You could be having thickening of the lining of the uterus, a fibroid, polyp etc.
That would then require medication.
Also once the bleeding stops, please get a Pap smear done if not done recently.
Take care.

Okay then. The pain is excrutiating to i dont want to move or do anything and even laying still really hurts
Brief Answer:
Take something for the pain please.
Detailed Answer:
That sounds very bad indeed.
You can take a combination of Tranexamic acid and Mefenamic acid ( Tranexa - MF ) to ease the pain and the bleeding.
THat will help, and a hot water bottle will help.
If it does not, you might need to go the ER.
