Brief Answer:
Treatment of metastatic colon cancer is chemotherapy and surgery.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Treatment of metastatic colon cancer is chemotherapy and surgery(if lesions are few in number).
5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) is the first choice chemotherapy drug for colorectal cancer. It may be combined with camptosar and eloxatin.
Now a days, newer chemotherapy drugs like vectibix, erbitux, avastin and aflibercept are also used with above combination.

Answered by Dr. Indu Kumar (15 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Response depend upon many thing& it is difficult to comment upon percentage

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Metastasis to liver is not related to peritoneal mets.To comment upon peritoneal mets it is important to go through images or reports.

Combination of oxyplatin and ralitetrexed(an antimetabolite)is ideal for metastatic colon cancer and it is expected to give good results.
Response depend upon many things and it is difficult to comment upon exact precentage. This combination is widely used in stage 4 colon carcinoma.
