Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
I understand your concern. Having jaundice for 3 years is of clinical importance. Your bilirubin is elevated and hemoglobin low.
First of all, we need to find out the cause of long standing jaundice, like viral hepatitis (Hepatitis B, C etc), any toxins, alcohol, blood breakdown (hemolysis), etc. For this we need your detailed history and blood workup.
Then we need to define the extent of liver problems, if any. For this USG and few other tests are necessary.
What I want to emphasize that if we can pinpoint the cause and the extent of the disease, we can provide you good and targeted therapy to eradicate the jaundice.
Hope I have answered your query. I will be available to answer further followup queries, if any.

ention the test name and then I will provide the results
first I need to know what all has been done
Detailed Answer:
In general, complete blood picture with RBC indices, reticulocyte count, full liver function tests, HbsAg, Anti HCV, USG abdomen will be a good screening.
But all of these should be in consult with a physician.
