What Causes Encephalopathy Post Recovery From Bypass Surgery?
Question: I had triple bypass surgery in 2014. Surgery went well but recovery was a mess.I was diagnosed with encephalopathy.I am very claustrophobic and asked to be sedated in a waiting area where I wouldn*t see all the equipment over me. As soon as surgery was over I began violent movement of arms and legs. Went into a coma for 28 days, On life support etc. Have ANY idea what may have a bearing on this?

Presently trying to find what caused 6 weeks of memory loss.could the anesthesiologist have ignored the claustrophobia and just knocked meout if I became anxious? Similar occurrance in 2010.
