What Causes Excruciating Groin Pain And Swollen Lymph Nodes?
Can be due to an infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The painful lymph nodes with swelling in the groin is suggestive of an infection in the area. If mild pain killers and hot compress are not helping then you need proper antibiotics after FNAC to find out the exact cause of lymphadenopathy.
Lymphadenopathy (swollen lymph nodes) is usually caused by a viral or bacterial infection. Other causes include allergic reactions or some malignancy. So it is best to rule out STD’s first and then move on to investigate other causes of swollen lymph node.
It is best to consult your physician earlier or attend an ER for stronger prescription medicines.
I hope this answers your query.

Can eb due to an abscess.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The extreme pain can be controlled by a continuous hot compress. If there is any fluctuation in the swelling then there can be pus inside it that needs to be drained. If the pain persists then do consider going to ER for proper pain killers and examination.
