What Causes Fatigue And Stuffy Nose?

chronic illness can be associated with fatigue
Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
The fatigue can be related to the low thyroid hormone levels if they are not optimized.
Your doctor can check this with a blood test, if they are low then your medication can be adjusted.
If your thyroid hormone levels are normal then your fatigue may be related to : (1) anemia- low levels of hemoglobin, this can be checked with a complete blood count
(2)chronic disease- any chronic disease can be associated with fatigue. This inclludes chronic rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal passages cause nasal congestion and runny nose)
There are other chronic diseases as well that may cause fatigue eg diabetes, heart disease, lung disease etc
(3)autoimmune diseases such as lupus, RA
(4)infection- the infection in your toe for the long period of time may also have contributed to your fatigue.
A common cause of long standing nail infection is fungal infection.
Most of the above conditions may be associated with additional symptoms
The persistent stuffy nose is rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal passages). This may occur on its own or with sinusitis (inflammation of the sinuses).
Most commonly due to allergies. It can be treated with topical steroid nasal sprays such as nasonex, flonase, rhinocort, avamys, nasocort
Summary: (1) the most common cause of persistent nail infection is a fungal infection which may add to your fatigue
(2)the persistent stuffy nose is due to rhinitis- the use of the topical steroids would help. Any chronic illness can be associated with fatigue
(3)a complete blood count would check for anemia as a cause of fatigue
(4)also need to check thyroid hormone levels
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions

The infections may be bacterial or fungal but because they have been there for a while, fungal infection is more likely.
Most common the great toes are involved but any of the toes may be affected.
There are other possible causes of gray discoloration of the nails, though these conditions are associated with more of a brown gray discoloration:(1) heart disease,
