What Causes Fever, Headache, Heaviness In Chest And Restlessness?

He is in football training and works out 2 times a day 2 hrs 5 -6 times a week. In addition he practices Baseball 3 times a week. He is usually very healthy, Thursday evening he can home with 103+ fever w headache and heavy chest he was talking nonsense in his sleep ` very restless but I was able to wake him and talk to him to see how he was feeling. he said he was cold. I gave him Motrin to bring fever down- That did help, He continued with the fever the following day ` no headache but diarrhea/cold hands & feet ,very tired and complained of re-flux I gave him a zantac and he said it helped.
last night he complained of sever pain in the middle of his back - considering he hasn't done much but lay in bead I am concerned. He had some spots on his kidney that we were to watch when he was ten . But normally a very healthy kid I can not remember the last time he was sick.
Three days prior to this he looked very ashy and dry on his face . I just figure he was tired.
This needs to be taken care off here is what you can do.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to Health Care Magic, I am Dr Muhammd Ahmad, I have closely read your question and I understand your concerns, I will hereby guide you regarding your health related problem.
How is his fever now? if he still has it you better visit a doctor he might need some blood works done and antibiotics prescribed. The other stretagy can be waiting for 3..4 days , giving him ibuprofen or tylenol when he gets fever and hydrating him real well and if it doesn't get settled then taking him to doctor.
diarrhea fever and lower back pain suggest an abdominal infection if it's viral it will settle in 3..4 days otherwise you will be needing to give him antibiotics.
Give him ample fluid even if not thirsty.
Give him fibre diet.
Probiotics.
And non dairy fibrous food.
He will soon be fine.
It doesnt seem to be related to his kidney...
I hope this answered your question, if you have more feel free to ask, otherwise close the discussion and rate it.
Regards.
Dr.Muhammad Ahmad.
