Fibrosis in lungs may be due to many causes.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Fibrosis in lungs may be due to many causes like sequel of past infection.Infection naturally heals by calcification and fibrosis.
However,it may be due to many other causes like autoimmune, occupational exposure, post radiation etc.
It may be due to rheumatoid arthritis in this case.
Generally mild fibrosis doesn't require any any treatment. It may require treatment if it severely compromises pulmonary functions.
