2. No prescribed drugs for possible TMJ.
3. NO recent dental work.
4. CANNOT feel enlarged lymph nodes in neck on same side. But neck is tender like right masseter muscle.
5. No fever; normal BP
i SAW MY INTERNIST THIS MORNING: Dx: INFLAMMATION OF SALIVARY GLANDS. Rx: CLINDAMYCIN 300 mg, take one every 6 hrs. for 8 days. F/U with M.D. in one week. Thank you for reviewing my problem.

Inflammation of the salivary glands is consistent with these symptoms. Clindamycin as an antibiotic is a good choice.
Avoid any alcohol intake during and even after treatment for a month or so to help subside the inflammation and prevent recurrance.
