What Causes Frequent Body Pain?

There can be various causes
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
Pain can be from various causes. Is it localized to bones/joints or muscles? Is there any swelling of joints, fever, rash? If localized in joints then most likely some inflammation of joints like arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis is one common form of arthritis. Bursitis is also a probable cause, as told to you. Another type of pain can be of nerve origin. Like nerve compression in spine.
If on clinical examination we can't pinpoint the cause, we should do some investigations like blood counts, ESR, C reactive protein, Xrays and if required, MRI scans. With these we can know the exact cause and then proper treatment can be initiated.
Hope this helps.
Regards
