What Causes Green Watery Bowel Movements And Hemorrhoids?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: Hello I had a colonoscopy today. A polyp was removed. I have since had mid-green watery bowel movements. I am not on any medication. I got a large haemeroid during the prep process. Is the green anything to worry about?
Brief Answer:
There is nothing to worry about.
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam.
If bowel preparation was done with any oral solution to drink prior to the Colonoscopy which is the norm then there is nothing to worry about.
The solution like Peglac that is given to drink usually comes out as a greenish liquid as it is cleared from the body.
As long as there is no reddish fluid or blood or black colored stools there should be no cause for worry.
This green excretion should stop over the next one or two days.
Do not worry.
Take care.
