Brief Answer:
tension head-ache, needs detailed ent examination

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. I would like to ask you few more details.

1) Is there any cough or wheeze during your cricket play ?
2) Is your head-ache or fever associated with nasal obstruction ?

Kindly get back to me with details.

As per your clinical details, it could be due to tension head-ache or sinusitis

I suggest you to consult an ENT surgeon and give detailed history (aggravating factors- tension head-ache or migraine) get detailed ENT examination (sinusitis) and BP monitoring. If necessary CT scan brain. Treatment can be started according to the investigations.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
Do not expose to cold breeze.

Detailed Answer:

Hello again,

Thanks for considering my answer and for your follow up.

Head-ache during winter could be due to change in barometric pressure, congestion of nasal tissue and constriction of blood vessels in brain.

As such, these head-aches are short lived, you can avoid by protecting your head and neck with hat and scarf. If it is associated with running nose or nasal obstruction, you need to see an ent surgeon who can prescribe you nasal decongestants and anti histamines or any other medication.

Hope, I have answered your query.

Take care.
