What Causes Headache And Right Sided Chest And Stomach Pain?
Question: Dear sir,
My mother is suffering from diabetes and having sugar level of 350 right now. Since past few days, she is having pain in her entire right side like headache, chest, stomach and mainly on her right hip area. I have consulted a Physician also. He diagnosed that she has to take Insulin ( Insuman Combo 51 ) on regular basis as her veins got weakened due to high sugar level. Please suggest me the right path as some of my well wishers are forcing me and also denying the usage of Insulin. I shall be ever grateful for this act.

Hi dear.Thanks for your query.
As per your description your mother sugars are pretty high(normal prandial <200 and fasting <130).I would agree with your doctor that high/uncontrolled sugars are primarily responsible for her current ailments.
I hope she is also evaluated for her heart health/status by your physician.
Can you please upload the scan reports using the reports tab on your page?
I would be glad to know the list of medications she has been currently taking.
Is your mother regularly taking her diabetes meds?
Is she able to bear weight on her right leg?Since when does she have hip pain?Do you notice any movement abnormality(limp etc) on her right side when she walks?
