What Causes Headache And Severe Sore Throat While Treating Bronchitis?

default
Posted on Mon, 8 May 2017
Question: Told me I had bronchitis, gave me antibiotics, which I took (all of them). The headache started last Saturday with a severe sore throat. These are new symptoms. I have only been able to take small breaths because my chest was so tight till last night when I starting sweating profusely, and coughing up this brownish sputum. Those dixie cups, I have filled up 6 medium sized ones. I feel like my head is going to explode, and everytime I cough real hard I wet myself. my head also feels like its going to explode. What can I do besides take the ibuprophen every 4 hours. My right side of my chest feels swollen and tight and hurts when I cough as well.

Brief Answer:
inhalers and mucolitics

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome in HCM

I can understand your concern and i am sorry for your situation

According to the history you have breathlessness actually.

I would add in the current treatment if you were my patient inhalers (like Ventoline three or four times per day) and mucolitics (N acetil cysteini once) for the secretions.

You should take a lot of water too.

Headache and severe cough are part of the bronchitis and general situation of the organism due to infection.

Don't worry they will soon pass.

I wish a fast recovery for you
