What Causes Headache, Intermittent Mild Fever, Loose Stool And Elevated Calcium Levels?

Question: Hi. My 27 year old son has not been feeling well for a couple of months. he lost about 15 pounds in only a few weeks(not trying to) and keeps getting low grade fevers every couple of weeks(not long in duration) having loose bowel movements, and just not feeling like himself. he has been to the Dr. and had blood work done. initially, the blood work showed elevated calcium level, so the Dr thought he might be having an issue with his thyroid. However, he has had two more rounds of blood work which were completely normal, so the Dr. cannot authorize an ultrasound of the thyroid. he does get headaches also, so she wants him to get an MRI with and without contrast. I am a worried mom! what do you think?
