What Causes Hearing Sounds In Ear And Clogged Ear?
Question: I just developed a noise in my ear that sounds like a horn blowing. It seems to be only one ear and it occred when my ear felt clogged and I tried to clear it by holding my nose and breathing out.

The commonest cause of ear blockage is impacted wax in the auditory canal.
Sometimes the auditory canal is so badly blocked by the wax that it is not possible to remove it by simple means.
Consult and ENT specialist for clinical examination.
In case wax is impacted it can be removed by syringing.
In case the outer ear is clear, examination of the inner ear can be done.
Relevant investigations will assess the functions of the inner ear and middle ear.

I have also had a sore throat and stuffy nose the last few days and can this be related to that. What would be the best treatment ?
