What Causes Hearing Sounds In Ear And Clogged Ear?
Inner ear disease or some lesion in outer ear.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
The noise in ear could be due to many causes.Diseases of inner ear can cause symptoms of hearing abnormal sounds.
This symptom is called tinnitus.
However, before considering pathology of inner ear, outer ear needs to be examined.
As you have mentioned that you experience clogging of the ear, it is quite possible that your ear is blocked.
The commonest cause of ear blockage is impacted wax in the auditory canal.
Sometimes the auditory canal is so badly blocked by the wax that it is not possible to remove it by simple means.
Consult and ENT specialist for clinical examination.
In case wax is impacted it can be removed by syringing.
In case the outer ear is clear, examination of the inner ear can be done.
Relevant investigations will assess the functions of the inner ear and middle ear.
Meniere's disease is one of the disease characterized by tinnitus.
However, a diagnosis can be made after clinical examination and investigations.
If you have more queries, I will be glad to answer.
