default
Posted on Tue, 30 Dec 2014
Question: Sir, 10 days back I had palpitations and consulted doctor. ECGs were normal. He game me beta blocker and alprax tabs for anxiety. And advised for 10 days of medication. But during these days I just started meditation and savasana. But I felt worse after savasana and meditation. Felt a small episode of palpitations after savasana. My doctor is out of station. Also i am feeling numb on my left thigh while sleep and becoming normal after wake up. I feel very week also. Please advise ... i am really tensed.

Brief Answer:
Relax / Continue drugs / Follow up

Detailed Answer:
Hi friend
Welcome to Health Care Magic

The description is highly suggestive only of Anxiety
The prescription of anxiolytic and beta blocker is appropriate and state of the art – you are in good hands
Meditation and the asana are relaxation indeed and are unlikely to worsen it
The feeling in the thigh also could be explained by Anxiety / or from nerve irritation from low back
Avoid tea, coffee, tobacco and alcohol
Relax/ continue the treatment / keep following up with you doctor

Good luck
God bless you
