Brief Answer:
A common side effect.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The mild pain in the muscles and a heavy feeling are the common side effects of such a hormone replacement therapy patch.
There is nothing to worry. If there is no associated breathlessness or palpitation then any cardiac cause is not likely. You can wait for a few days and let the symptoms subside on their own. Taking mild pain killer will help in case the pain is intense.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
