Brief Answer:
You may be having planter fascitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,XXXX

Thanks for your query.

I'm Dr. Sudhir Kumar,

I want to ask some questions.
1.Since when you have pain?
2.Whether pain is in one heel or in both heels?
3.At which time of day pain is maximum and at which time pain is less?
4.Whether you are diabetic or having thyroid disease?

Here my possibility according to your history given
After going through your query I concluded that you may be having planter fasciitis as it common in your age and commonest cause of heel pain. Most people with plantar fasciitis have pain when they take their first steps after they get out of bed or sit for a long time.He may have less stiffness and pain after taking a few steps.

No single treatment works best for everyone with plantar fasciitis. But there are many things you can try to help your foot get better:
1.Give your feet a rest. Cut back on activities that make your foot hurt. Try not to walk or run on hard surfaces.
2.To reduce pain and swelling, try putting ice on your heel.
3.Take an over-the-counter pain reliever like ibuprofen.
4.Pick shoes with good arch support and a cushioned sole.

I try these methods on patients with planter fasciitis coming to me for nearly 2 weeks. If these method does not respond then I give my patients injection triamcilone locally in heel(origin of planter fascia) weekly with good results. Most of my patients required only 2 injections. Along with it I also give analgesic for pain relief. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.

You can get your x-ray done to exclude other causes.

Hope I have answered your query.
If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.

Wishing you good health.
Take care.
